Responding to the need of the hour, Nazareth Hospital, Mokama extended its services to the neighbouring Bakhtiarpur which lacked basic health care, especially maternity care.

Regular OPD, immunization programs and mother & child care are done at the centre. The centre is also involved in outreach services, awareness camps, training programs and skill development programs for women and young girls.
