Marching towards a tuberculosis-free society

Proactive collaboration through DOTS Program:

Nazareth Hospital joined hands with World    Health Partner and signed MOU in the Month of January 2022 for the Prevention and treatment of tuberculosis patients. Regular home visits and counselling are also provided. The counselling of persons affected by tuberculosis disease ensures that the patients understand the importance of continuing medication without missing out on even a single day for 6 –9 months under supervision. Patients understand through counselling that a total cure is possible. Emphasis is given that along with TB medicine, nutritious food is to be eaten.
