Nazareth Hospital, Mokama organized a free dental camp on July 8, 2021 to create awareness about oral hygiene in the out-patient department, (OPD). This camp is an initiative of Doctor Ram Kumar and his wife, Doctor Shalini Kumar. They not only examined 30patients but also distributed free medicines. Those who need follow-up procedural dental care it will be given in the weekly dental OPD clinic. Concession will be given to the poor patients who needit.
The area of oral hygiene is usually neglected by most people especially in such times as the pandemic COVID-19. Doctor Ram said, “I would like to create awareness among people about the importance of oral hygiene. Personally, I am doing what I can for the poor people by giving them the needed medicines free.”
Nazareth Hospital is trying its best to reach out to as many people as people through various types of services. Dental hygiene is an important aspect of over-all health and well-being.
